Terms of use
HutPal connects families in Miri with inspected home cooks. By ordering or cooking through HutPal you agree to these terms.

Prices and payment
Cooks set their own meal prices. HutPal sets the delivery fee and shows it separately before you pay; HutPal's riders deliver. Payment is made to HutPal; your order is confirmed once we have checked your payment.
How weekly orders work
An order is one week from one cook: Monday to Friday (5 days) at least, with Saturday and Sunday as optional extras when the cook works weekends. Rice is an optional add-on for the whole order. If you know you'll be away on a booked day, mark it when you order: you pay for it now and get a make-up day with the same cook, meal and size to use within 30 days (if the cook stops cooking, it becomes credit). If you're not happy with a cook, the days whose cut-off hasn't passed (and unused make-up days) can be turned into HutPal credit straight away; you can use the credit with another cook or ask for it back to your bank.
Cut-off and changes
Orders close at the cook's cut-off, usually 8pm the day before. Unpaid orders expire after the hold time.
Missed or cancelled meals
If a cook cancels a meal (or a whole day), its value, including the delivery fee, is credited to your account automatically and used on your next order. You may ask for a cash refund instead.
Food and allergies
Tell us about allergies when you order. Home kitchens may handle common allergens; if an allergy is severe, please check with us first.
Cooks
Cooks are independent home cooks, inspected by HutPal, paid weekly for their meals less the agreed commission. Delivery is done by HutPal.
Aircon bookings
You pay the full price by DuitNow when you book; the price is fixed then. A verified serviceman is confirmed for your booking — if we can't confirm one in time, everything you paid comes back as HutPal credit. Cancelling is free until 24 hours before; inside 24 hours, or if nobody is home, part of the price is kept and the rest comes back as credit. Extra work found on site must be approved by you in the app; never pay cash on site. Credit can be used on any booking or order, or asked back to your bank.
